This movie is quite hard to understand as it have many part which force the audience to used their critical thinking skills.this movie started in 1891 at London, where Sherlock Holmes which cast by Robert Downey, Jr. and Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) race to prevent the ritual murder of a girl by Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong), who has killed five other people similarly. They are able to stop the murder just in time before Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan) and the police arrive to make the arrest. REFLECTION....

my reflection towards this movie????
even though this movie can be considered as quite boring as it related to political issue but i can say that it is a big successful as the director had make me change my perception this kind of movie. as moral of the story, we as citizen who have freedom, we have to voice out our right as we can voice out it.

"V" for VENDETTA....

TOPIC: V for VENDETTA as the title was given. from the image for the DVD cover, i thought that this movie is all about a man who have superpower but it is all wrong. the story is more towards political crisis which lead in London.VENDETTA?
VENDETTA here means revenge. V also can be considered as VICTIM @ VILLAIN. this story os quite complicated and hard to understand as we have to think critically. that is why MISS WANI choose this movie for us.

CONTENT: this story was located at London as there are political crisis. the government had take terrorists, homosexual and muslim as their target to be their "specimen" as they want to create biological weapon. London was labeled as curfew. but there is a girl who named EVEY try went out from her house. while she was staying outside, she was trapped by mens who khown as "fingerman". soon after that, there was a guy who wear mask come and save her to escape from the fingerman.

AUDIENCE: this movie published to all viewer especially to the politician as to make they more alert regarding political crisis which lot had happen worlwide.

RHETORICAL FUNCTION: (a) to informing
(b) to educating

PURPOSE: the purpose of this movie is to inform the viewer regarding the crisis between the government and the public. besides that, this director for this movie also want to educate the viewer as not to easily influence with the government.

PERSPECTIVE: in this movie, the director try to condemn the political system as he/she have the evidence.

POSITIONING: why the director describe the main character as "V"???? this because in this movie, the director tell the viewer that "V" want to pay revenge towards the government as what they have done to him. "V" also can be considered as the representative for the public to voice out their right as citizen who are free.

IMPACT: it is good for the viewer as they will be more alert on certain problem which involve them like in this situation. they will prevent this problem from getting worst.

VISUAL LITERACY: the title for this movie is totaly suitable as it have significant.

watching movie BEAUTIFUL BOXER....

BEAUTIFUL BOXER
ASSALAMUALAIKUM.... On last week, MISS WANI had brought all of us to the K-ACQUISITION (LIBRARY) to watch a movie name BEAUTIFUL BOXER. Why these movies given title such like that? I will tell it after this. Just one word from me. AMAZING! This movie is very interesting as it can attract me to watch it from the beginning till the end. At first, I thought this movie is not interesting as it is Thai movie. Soon after that, I realise that this is such quality movie which produced by Thai director.
This story is mainly about NONG TOOM who is being interviewed by the reporter about their life as a transvestite and what the factors which lead him to become a woman. He is confuse with his gender either he wants to be a man or woman. The main place setting for this story is at Thailand. It’s all started when NONG TOOM went to the night market and he had watched a boxing match and dance performance. He thinks that the boxing match is quite harsh and it is not suit for him compare to the dance performance which is soft and suit with him. He try to know well with the dancer, he went to back of the stage and he try to look on what the life behind the dancer. He can see that most of the dancers were having a touch up on their face. Soon after that, one of the dancer’s lip gloss had fell down near to him. He decided to take back the lip gloss. At home, NONG TOOM try to wear all the attire like what the dancer wear on the stage.
The longer he wear the attire and act like women, the more his attitude become like a woman. He becomes soft like sissy boy. Not enough with that, he always being bullied by other kids even with his own little brother. After being bullied, he will cry all the times. He did not protect himself. When his parents think that his behaviour getting worst, they decide that they want to send NONG TOOM to become a monk. At the temple, he thinks that he was sinful towards his parents or in other words, we can consider it as karma. One of the examples that he thinks it relate to this matter is when his hut that they live were illegal, as the result, his mother was being jailed. Soon after that, the situation become worst as his father was sick, his ankle was broke.
How NONG TOOM become worst and started to get involve with transvestite? NONG TOOM’S life is difficult. He has to face lot of challenges in his life. The challenges are very amazing. It could not be imagine that he have to face with lot of challenges in very young ages. It is before he became well known Thailand boxer. It is all started as he accidentally enter the boxing match, even though he can be considered as sissy, unfortunately he won the match. Starting from there, the story on NONG TOOM’S life begins.

reading 1.1 about an article....

In the second class, MISS SYAZWANI have asked us to read article 1.1 in critical literacy reading book. The title for this article is CONVICTED KILLER BACK AT WORK. It is all about DEBORAH PARRY, 40 years-old who was convicted of murdering her colleague Australian, YVONNE GILFORD in Saudi Arabia. During the discussion session of this article, all of us have to use our critical thinking sense as to achieve the target for this subject. it is hard for us to understand the article because it is very complicated. this article was written by LUCIE MORRIS who was from LONDON. sincerely i feel jealous when all of my classmate have lot of idea regarding this article while i just keep silent. this article is written for people who are not in the medical or legal professions. why? because there is no any scientific term in this article, so all level of readers are suitable to read this article as the words which used is easily understand. rhetorical function? to persuading the readers that DEBORAH PARRY is not guilty at all. besides that, this article is written to warn the readers that DEBORAH PARRY is a convicted killer. on the perspective side, i think that the writer try to condemn DEBORAH PARRY because she used "Convicted Killer" as a word to reinstate DEBORAH PARRY with a criminal record. as for positioning aspect, this article can be said as bias. Finally, the visual literacy is very important as it represent the way how the writer want to give visualization regarding this article.

ice breaking with MISS SYAZWANI HANAPI is the best....
